YOU SAY NERD LIKE IT'S A BAD THING

Hello fellow Nerds, Geeks, Derps, and Trolls alike. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Daniel Duran aka Duranamo. I am part of the movement that is Nerd Life. I'm an admin for the Facebook page Nerd Life as well as an avid gamer. The systems I currently own are NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, Sega, Dreamcast, N64 (my favorite console), Wii U, and PS3 although I am very familiar with Xbox and PC. I am also into music production. Mainly rap but I also delve into scores and EDM styles. If you feel so inclined, you can check out some of my music here. I will be covering mainly video games with sprinkles of music stuff here and there as well as running the YouTube channel. The YouTube channel will have stuff like Let's Plays, live streams, news, top 10's, and series like The Tipsy Gamer and Throw Back Thursday Gaming.

Current Games

Right now I'm re-playing through Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Arguably one of the best damn games ever crafted. I also do this thing where every pay day I'll go to GameStop and check out their used game section and but two or three games that I never got a chance to play. For example I just recently bought Dishonered and L.A. Noir for PS3. Both badass games as well. I'm also playing GTA V Online which is a blast as usual. Eventually I'd like to get into next gen gaming. I'm super excited for Halo 5. That will be fun to live stream with online parties... Very much excite.

Music

So, as far as music is concerned, all of my music is made with FL Studio. I first heard about the program when it was FL Studio 9.2 from a buddy I had gone to high school with. I downloaded the demo version and started making beats on October 31st 2009. With the demo version of FL Studio you can't save projects. You can only export MP3's and WAV files so when shit crashes because of low RAM it can cause some serious rage quits. Fast forward to today and I'm still in it. Music has become a huge part of my life. I even have some production credits like ILL Smith feat. Rittz by Twisted Insane. I do a lot of video game themed production as well like this King Boo inspired beat.

Well, with all of this being said, I am looking forward to writing for all of you guys.

Thank you for your time!
